Create a Pronunciation Dictionary
Define spoken replacements and assign a synced dictionary to a profile.
Pronunciation dictionaries require Pro or Elite. The feature is Alpha. See Audio reference for limits.
Create and assign a dictionary
- Open InfoOps → Audio.
- Select Create under Pronunciation Dictionaries.
- Enter a name and select English or Spanish.
- Add entries individually or import a CSV file.
- Enter a source word and a readable replacement for each entry.
- Save the dictionary.
- Wait for the Synced badge.
- Open the profile's Advanced Configuration.
- Enable Audio Narration.
- Select the dictionary and save the profile.
Use readable replacements
Provider sync sends every entry as a text replacement, including entries labeled IPA. Test the pronunciation in a generated report.
Resolve a sync error
If the badge shows Error, inspect the displayed message. Correct the entries and select the refresh button. Editing a dictionary changes its status to Pending until sync completes. Y2 applies only synced dictionaries with a provider ID.
The dictionary must belong to the profile's user or workspace scope. A pending, failed, deleted, or inaccessible dictionary is not applied during generation.
