Join and Manage the Affiliate Program

Enroll from Settings, share your referral link, and monitor referral activity

This guide shows you how to join the Y2 Affiliate Program and manage your referral link from Settings → Referrals.

Referral settings is the source of truth

Read the complete v5 Affiliate Program Terms and the UTC effective time in Settings → Referrals before accepting or sharing a link. The Spanish text in Settings is a summary. The complete English terms control.

Before you start

Sign in with the account that owns the paid billing workspace you want to use. Referral settings will show any requirement that still needs attention, including:

  • A verified account email.
  • Ownership of a qualifying paid workspace.
  • A current subscription payment for that workspace.

Your own current paid Lite, Pro, or Elite subscription can qualify you to participate. For referred customer payments from the Pro/Elite policy's displayed UTC effective time, only a Pro or Elite purchase can earn commission. A referred Lite purchase remains visible as a referral but earns nothing under the new policy. A later Pro or Elite upgrade can become its first qualifying conversion if its payment falls within 90 days of the saved claim.

Admin or member access to another customer's paid workspace does not qualify the account. Use Account settings to resolve email requirements and Billing settings to resolve plan or payment requirements.

Join the program

Open referral settings

Go to Settings → Referrals. The program card shows whether your account is ready to enroll or which requirement needs attention.

Review the current terms

Expand Review the affiliate program terms. Review the version, commission rules, payout requirements, and responsible-promotion rules shown in the app.

Accept and join

Select the agreement checkbox. Choose Join and create my referral link. Y2 records the terms version you accepted before starting link creation.

Wait for the complete referral URL. Select Copy link.

Manage your referral activity

Return to Settings → Referrals whenever you need to:

  • Copy your current referral link.
  • Review saved referrals, including those waiting on a qualifying purchase, conversions, active qualifying subscriptions, and expired or rejected claims.
  • Check payout eligibility requirements.
  • Review verified payments, commission calculations, and payout statuses.

For each USD payout batch, the current Pro/Elite terms deduct 3% of gross commission plus $0.50. The percentage rounds up to the nearest cent. A $100.00 commission batch therefore sends $96.50 to Stripe. This is the full affiliate payout deduction. Later changes to Stripe's actual sending costs do not change it. Earlier earnings keep their accepted payout rules.

Always share the complete link displayed in the app. Do not reconstruct or shorten its referral token. Disclose your commission clearly beside each endorsement or referral link. For example: “I may earn a commission if you buy Y2 through my link.”

Keep your account eligible

Use the Payout eligibility card in referral settings as your checklist. Keep every displayed requirement satisfied while participating and when commissions are reviewed or paid. If the card shows an action is required, resolve that item before relying on new referral activity.

Troubleshoot enrollment or synchronization
