Getting Started
Sign in, select a workspace, and choose your first Y2 task.
Y2 monitors topics and produces intelligence reports. A profile defines the topic, research settings, and schedule. A subscription controls your access and delivery preferences.
Before you begin
You need an email address or phone number that can receive a verification code. You do not need an API key to use the app.
Feature access follows the active workspace. See Plans and limits for profile and delivery availability.
Y2 Desktop is in beta. Check download availability before following the Mac or Windows installation guide.
Open your workspace
- Open Y2 sign in.
- Choose email or phone verification.
- Enter the code you receive.
- Complete the workspace prompts.
- Check the workspace name in the app sidebar.
The setup is complete when your workspace dashboard opens.

Follow a public briefing
Find an existing topic and follow it in your workspace.
Create a profile
Define your own topic, report structure, and schedule.
Explore the Situation Room
Inspect events, sources, and country information on the map.
Build an API integration
Authenticate and make your first request.
Confirm a profile subscription
After you create or follow a profile, open My Profiles. Confirm that the profile appears. Open it to review its status and delivery settings. See email, webhook, or SMS setup for the delivery method your plan supports.
