From a question to a repeatable briefing

1. Define a decision. In InfoOps, create a custom profile with a specific topic, geography, and audience. “Which port disruptions could affect our Gulf Coast shipments?” gives research a clearer job than “supply chains.”
2. Set the cadence. Select a daily, weekly, twice-monthly, or monthly UTC schedule. The schedule starts research; delivery follows successful generation. Check the next run in My Profiles, including your local daylight-saving offset.
3. Choose delivery. Email goes to your account address. Elite workspaces can choose a workspace audience. Webhooks send a completion event to your endpoint; an API integration can then retrieve the full report.
4. Review the evidence. Open the cited sources, check their dates and scope, and separate reported events from inferred effects on your business. Revise the topic when the output includes irrelevant coverage or misses a known event.

For a weekly logistics review, try the following topic. This is an example configuration, not a report of current events:

Track disruptions affecting Gulf Coast ports and connected shipping routes. Summarize new developments, cite the original reports, state which locations are affected, and separate confirmed disruption from possible downstream impact. Identify questions an operations manager should verify before changing a shipment.

Choose Monday at 14:00 UTC and email delivery. Evaluate the first completed report against a short list of events you already know about. Record missing sources, duplicates, outdated coverage, and the time needed to turn it into a useful decision.
