September 17, 2026 private chats, conversation controls, and reliabilityCopy Anchor Link

Start a temporary conversation or remove a saved one, with controls that fit the existing desktop and mobile Chat layout. Updates also improve workspace switching, report retries, and account deletion feedback.

• Choose Private at the top right of Chat to start a private conversation. Choose it again to return to regular Chat.
• Private conversations stay out of your history and clear when you leave or reload the page.
• Private chats use workspace Agent Y2 credits at the same rates as regular chats, including billable tool use. A reminder stays visible below the composer.
• Uploads, memory, and saved actions remain available in regular chats.

Easier conversation cleanupCopy Anchor Link

• Open a conversation's history menu or use the delete control in its header to delete it.
• Confirm before permanently removing the conversation and its messages. Credits already used are not refunded.
• Long conversation titles leave room for the history menu, keeping its actions visible.

• Private mode keeps its toggle at the top right, with a centered explanation and the composer above the existing bottom navigation.
• Larger touch targets and safe-area spacing keep the new private-chat and deletion controls easy to reach.

• An older open tab now shows a notice when a newer version is available. You can save drafts before reloading.
• Switching accounts, workspaces, or plans clears requests from previous views. Workspace pages wait for access to be ready before loading their content.
• Members can view their workspace's member list without requesting restricted invitation data.
• A failed command-menu preload no longer produces an unhandled error.

• Retrying the same report-generation run reuses a saved report instead of creating a duplicate.
• Reports with missing workspace ownership stop before paid research begins, so the configuration can be corrected before trying again.
• Conflicting entity identities can be reviewed while other OSINT records continue updating.
• CVE collection retries temporary service failures from the same page and time window.

• Account deletion shows actionable errors and confirms when a request has been accepted.

Create a PDF from the materials saved to a Project, bringing findings, evidence, and visual context together for review.

One-page briefs and full reportsCopy Anchor Link

• Choose Export PDF from a Project to prepare a report.
• The default one-page intelligence brief leads with a synthesized bottom line, up to three cited findings, implications, and what to watch next.
• Full intelligence report adds deeper analysis, uncertainties, selected supporting passages, and visual context. Both formats summarize large Projects before rendering.
• Selection prioritizes recent, relevant evidence, including up to two recent reports per linked profile. Older evidence is labelled as context. Saved dates are separate from the preparation date. Exports do not perform a live source refresh.
• Coverage notes identify sampled history, selected document passages, and unavailable content. Original files, complete reports, and full conversation history remain in Y2.
• Selected conversation excerpts are optional in full reports and excluded by default.
• Synthesis uses workspace AI credits. If synthesis is unavailable, the PDF clearly identifies its content as saved evidence excerpts instead of presenting a new assessment.
• Fixes a browser security policy error that could prevent either PDF format from generating.
• Brief and full exports share the same assessment while the dialog remains open and branding and conversation settings stay unchanged. Full reports expand it with supporting analysis and an evidence matrix. Reopen the dialog to prepare a new edition.
• Assessment generation distinguishes direct Project evidence from broader context, preserves source families, and checks for repeated findings and elapsed milestones described as future events.

• Cited graphs combine known entity identities and select a connected explanation, with readable node labels, types, directed arrows, and relationship keys. Unresolved aliases remain separate.
• Maps consolidate repeated event references under stable place keys. Distinct events at one location remain separate in the key. Repeated representations do not become extra locations.
• Regional and unknown geometry is labelled as context. Recorded points retain coordinates. Qualifying groups of nearby points can receive detail panels alongside the overview.
• Visual selection states material omissions. Missing facilities, coordinates, and finer map detail are not invented. Complete source graphs and records remain in Y2.

• Y2 branding is the default. Workspaces with branding enabled for their plan can select an existing branding template, including its name, colors, logo, and disclaimer.
• PDFs include Project identity and source references so readers can return to the supporting material in Y2.
• Visual branding does not replace the report's intelligence purpose with a template persona.

This release introduces Y2 Desktop for macOS and Windows, bringing Chat, Projects, reports, and your intelligence workspace into a dedicated app.

Public installer downloads remain unavailable until signing and installation checks are complete. Mac downloads are deferred pending Apple signing and notarization.

Explore more observations in Y2. Elite gives teams more capacity. Navigation between Chat and investigations is easier. Country cards also gain more dependable news coverage and clearer geographic attribution.

More complete OSINT map resultsCopy Anchor Link

• The OSINT Monitor loads all stored observations matching your selected area, time range, and event layers, removing the previous overall result cap.
• Loading progress shows how many observations have arrived and when the selection is complete. If loading stops, retry from where it left off. If a refresh fails, the previous completed map remains visible.
• Both globe and flat views group nearby observations into markers with counts. Clicking a group opens its event list immediately. Select an observation to view its location and details, including when several observations share the same location.
• Switching to flat view downloads a smaller map renderer.
• Zooming and panning within a loaded region reuses its observations. Moving beyond that region loads new coverage after you finish moving the map.
• Theater Intel retains regional headlines while you explore the map. Its refreshes are independent of zoom, panning, and visible layers.
• Completed selections refresh automatically after five minutes, with a manual refresh option when you want to check sooner.

More dependable satellite fire observationsCopy Anchor Link

• Fire collection includes NASA FIRMS detections from Suomi NPP, NOAA-20, NOAA-21, and MODIS, and removes the previous per-region observation cap.
• Observation times reflect the satellite acquisition time in UTC. Repeated collections of an unchanged detection no longer make it appear newly updated.
• Clear warnings identify delayed or incomplete fire collection, even when all available map observations have finished loading.

Map completion means all matching observations stored by Y2 have loaded. Fire collection still covers the existing nine monitored regions, excludes low-confidence detections, and requests today's and yesterday's observations. This update does not add global fire coverage or a 30-day fire history.

• Country cards select eligible news before filling their eight-headline list, so a surge in satellite fire detections no longer hides available stories.
• Geopolitical and maritime RSS coverage better recognizes attacks, seizures, captures, and shipping disruptions, including Red Sea escalation headlines.
• Country attribution gives priority to headline locations and specific places over countries mentioned as sponsors or background context. Regional exposure remains distinct from where an event occurred.
• Reused publisher identifiers no longer replace a different stored article, preserving its identity and evidence links.
• Failed news requests show a retry option instead of an empty-news message.

The country-news API keeps its response fields and public observation IDs. After this update, integrations with an older country-news pagination cursor must restart from the first page if they receive an invalid or obsolete cursor response.

• Every workspace API key shows its responsible member, active or revoked state, request volume for the current month, and latest use.
