Explore more of the observations available to Y2, give your team more room to work with Elite, and move more easily between Chat and your investigations.
More complete OSINT map results
- The OSINT Monitor loads all stored observations matching your selected area, time range, and event layers, removing the previous overall result cap.
- Loading progress shows how many observations have arrived and when the selection is complete. If loading stops, retry from where it left off. If a refresh fails, the previous completed map remains visible.
- Both globe and flat views group nearby observations into markers with counts. Clicking a group opens its event list immediately; select an observation to view its location and details, including when several observations share the same location.
- Switching to flat view downloads a smaller map renderer.
- Zooming and panning within a loaded region reuses its observations. Moving beyond that region loads new coverage after you finish moving the map.
- Theater Intel keeps its regional headlines while you explore the map, with independent refreshes that do not depend on zoom, panning, or visible map layers.
- Completed selections refresh automatically after five minutes, with a manual refresh option when you want to check sooner.
More dependable satellite fire observations
- Fire collection includes NASA FIRMS detections from Suomi NPP, NOAA-20, NOAA-21, and MODIS, and removes the previous per-region observation cap.
- Observation times reflect the satellite acquisition time in UTC. Repeated collections of an unchanged detection no longer make it appear newly updated.
- Clear warnings identify delayed or incomplete fire collection, even when all available map observations have finished loading.
Map completion means all matching observations stored by Y2 have loaded. Fire collection still covers the existing nine monitored regions, excludes low-confidence detections, and requests today's and yesterday's observations. This update does not add global fire coverage or a 30-day fire history.

These allowances are shared across the organization workspace. Elite includes five members, with larger organizations available by arrangement, at $200/month or $2,000/year. Situation Room coverage, refresh frequency, and retention remain the same as Pro.

- The blog listing loads less data, and links between documentation and articles navigate more smoothly.
- Opening the Y2 home page while signed in takes you directly to Chat.
- Mobile tabs stay easier to reach across intelligence, developer, and settings views, with fewer unexpected page jumps when switching tabs.
- Explorer gives mobile users clearer access to search and investigation controls.
