CVE-2025-0107
Expedition: OS Command Injection Vulnerability
An OS command injection vulnerability in Palo Alto Networks Expedition enables an unauthenticated attacker to run arbitrary OS commands as the www-data user in Expedition, which results in the disclosure of usernames, cleartext passwords, device configurations, and device API keys for firewalls running PAN-OS software.
Fixes and workarounds
Fix
This issue is fixed in Expedition 1.2.100 and all later versions* of Expedition. * Expedition reached its End of Life (EoL) date https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/expedition-articles/important-update-end-of-life-announcement-for-palo-alto-networks/ta-p/589642 and is no longer supported. We added these fixes prior to the EoL date and we do not plan to make any additional updates or security fixes. Please use the suggested alternatives listed in the Expedition End of Life Announcement https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/expedition-articles/important-update-end-of-life-announcement-for-palo-alto-networks/ta-p/589642 .

For agents and automation
Read public disclosures for free as Markdown or JSON. Compatible browsers also expose native WebMCP tools to search disclosures, read this page, and discover API access.
Use the ontology-linked Cyber API with x402 pay per request, or a Y2 Pro or Elite API key with the intel:cyber scope.

A workspace owner or admin can create a Pro or Elite API key. Send Authorization: Bearer <Y2_API_KEY> from your trusted agent runtime.
For x402, omit Authorization and read the HTTP 402 payment challenge before signing a retry. Public browser tools do not make payments.
