CVE-2026-92171
Infinispan-operator: infinispan operator: sensitive information disclosure due pod args store
A flaw was found in the Infinispan Operator for Red Hat Data Grid. When cross-site (xsite) TLS is enabled, the operator launches the Gossip Router container with keystore and truststore passwords passed as plain-text command-line arguments (`-tls_keystore_password`, `-tls_truststore_password`). Container args are stored in the Pod spec and visible to any principal with `get pods` permission in the namespace (no `get secrets` required), to node-level processes via `/proc/<pid>/cmdline`, and frequently captured in audit/event logs.
Fixes and workarounds
Workaround
To mitigate this issue, restrict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) permissions for `get pods` within the namespace where the Infinispan Operator is deployed. Grant `get pods` access only to users and service accounts that explicitly require it, thereby limiting the exposure of sensitive keystore and truststore passwords.

For agents and automation
Read public disclosures for free as Markdown or JSON. Compatible browsers also expose native WebMCP tools to search disclosures, read this page, and discover API access.
Use the ontology-linked Cyber API with x402 pay per request, or a Y2 Pro or Elite API key with the intel:cyber scope.

A workspace owner or admin can create a Pro or Elite API key. Send Authorization: Bearer <Y2_API_KEY> from your trusted agent runtime.
For x402, omit Authorization and read the HTTP 402 payment challenge before signing a retry. Public browser tools do not make payments.
