The DnsGcloud::prepare() method decodes the dns_gcloud_key model field and directly interpolates the string fields gcloud_account and gcloud_project into a shell command passed to proc_open() via LeUtils::run_shell_command() without any validation or escaping. A remote authenticated user with privileges to issue or renew certificates through the WebGUI/API can achieve arbitrary code execution as root.","epss":null,"exploits":[],"kev":null,"metrics":[{"score":9.4,"severity":"critical","source":"CNA: mitre","vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:H/SI:H/SA:H","version":"4.0"}],"modifiedAt":1793860145916,"publishedAt":1793860145916,"references":[{"source":"CNA: mitre","tags":[],"url":"https://github.com/opnsense/plugins/pull/5873"}],"remediation":[],"revision":"9ee5530c0550213c52aa9829b046b393e1e478e6bd1d4573d461757f93434d1d","sources":[{"modifiedAt":1793860145916,"name":"CNA: mitre","retrievedAt":1793862519385,"url":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-123025"}],"ssvc":null,"status":"published","title":"CVE-2026-123025","updatedAt":1793862519385}
